Custom Illustration Project for Gracie’s Ice Cream shop’s independent artist Summer Series

CONCEPT DISCUSSION:
To create up to 3 custom illustrations based on individual book chapter titles for summer reading post series.

Images to be used in collaboration with a series of other independent artists work in a streaming gallery all depicting different takes on the Chapter Title’s meaning to them, in their individual style and art medium.

COLLABORATION:
Fantastic and highly creative project. Complete creative control for medium, color, concept and composition. Freeing and fun!

INSPIRATION

Well. Ice Cream of course.

ARTIST DESIGN NOTE:
This was a fabulous project and was so happy to have been asked to be a part of it. Unfortunately, it was never finished since halfway through, we had to shut down for the Pandemic and this little Ice Cream Shop still somehow managed to survive and is still thriving 5 years later! I only hope he gets to finish the project in the near future, since everyone was so talented and it was a terrific concept.
